The most interesting match of the weekend will be a 23-minute premiership duel between hosts Kisumu Simba and Wazalendo today starting 4pm. KHU matches and fixtures committee ordered the match to be replayed saying none of the two teams was found guilty of causing disbandment. Umpire Mike Dome stopped the match in the 47th minute with Wazalendo leading 3-2, citing insecurity. The suspense of the match is that it would continue as if there was no interruption with the same players to finish the remaining minutes. "The rule stipulates that the teams must field the same players who were playing when the match was stopped," KHU secretary-general, Peter Kiruma, said.... | |
